Child Safety Standards

Effective September 21, 2026

Private Line has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out the standards we hold the platform to, how anybody can report a concern, and what happens when they do.

Who may use Private Line

Private Line is for adults. You must be 18 or over to hold an account; the age range is asked at signup and the store listings carry an 18+ rating. An account found to belong to a minor is closed.

What is prohibited

Any content that sexualises a minor — images, video, text, drawings, or links to it — is prohibited without exception. There is no artistic, educational, ironic or historical exception. So is any attempt to groom, solicit, or arrange contact with a minor, and any content that advertises or facilitates the sexual exploitation of children.

This applies to posts, stories, comments, profiles, business cards, communities and private messages alike.

How to report

Every post and every comment has a Report option in its menu, and every account can be blocked from its posts or its profile. Reports go to a queue read by a person and reach our moderators the moment they are made. Anybody — including people without an account — can also write to contact@myprivateline.co.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.

What we do with a report

Suspected CSAE content is removed and the account is closed. It is not merely removed: we preserve the material as the law requires and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, and to the relevant authority elsewhere, and we cooperate with law enforcement.

Reports are handled within 24 hours. The person who reported is told the outcome.

Compliance

Private Line complies with applicable child-safety laws, including U.S. federal reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and with the child-safety policies of the app stores it is distributed through. These standards are reviewed whenever the law, the platform, or the stores' requirements change.
